An open letter to the good folks at Rudy Project.
Hello Rudy,
My name is Dan Porter and I am a Cat 2 mountain bike racer and Cat 1 road racer from Fort Collins CO. I am writing you in hopes of obtaining product sponsorship for the 2009 mountain bike season. As you will see in the following photos I have been a loyal user of Rudy products for years.
For 2009 I will be representing the GT Dirt Coalition, IMBA and Ergon at a minimum of 6 races and more likely 10 not to mention countless hours of training . As part of my contract with GT I will be setting up my team tent and spreading the word about GT. In case you haven’t heard, GT is cool again. I will also be encouraging people to join the International Mountain Bike Association.
If you decide to provide me with a pair of sunglasses, helmet and a pack I will be happy to represent Rudy Project in a positive manner both on this site and on the trail.
For what its worth I also run the Fort Collins cycling website Your Group Ride
